Karimunjawa is a chain of 27 islands north of Semarang, off the coast of Central Java, Indonesia.
Mostly, all of karimunjawa islands are sand beaches, but in some parts of kemojan islands we can finds mangrove beaches.
Karimunjawa island was the biggest island of all. The climate there is hot in the dry season, and wet in the rainy season.
There are chartered plane from Semarang that flies from Semarang to Dewandaru Airport in Kemujan island. There also a regular ferry that sail from Tanjung Emas port in Semarang and Jepara port to Karimunjawa island.

Because there still small amound of cars there. To make it easier, you can call your travel agent to arrange it.
Surrounded by seas, Karimunjawa provides lots of sea food. Fresh fish and prawns are staples in the island diet.
Restaurants are located within hotels. Other eateries, or 'warungs', provide decent cheap food like fried rice, fish, or an assortment of veggies. Be flexible and you'll do fine. There are various kinds of accommodation there, from the four star hotels to homestay. Karimunjawa is definitely an unforgettable adventure.
